Each customer will be considered to have read and agreed to our terms and conditions once they open an account with SLXpress. We also advise account holders to review the terms and conditions regularly to stay informed of any updates. After completing the registration process, each customer will receive our U.S.A. mailing address and a unique mailbox number, where all products should be mailed.
By using our shipping services, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
All items must be properly packaged by the customer or merchant to ensure safe transportation. We are not liable for damage to goods resulting from inadequate, improper, or insufficient packaging, including but not limited to fragile items, liquids, or items requiring special handling. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that merchants properly package items for shipping to ensure safe delivery and prevent harm to people, property, or the item itself.
As a result, SLXpress disclaims liability for items damaged by outside parties such as online retailers or customs officials in Jamaica. Only products damaged or lost while under our direct control are subject to liability. SLXpress is not responsible for ensuring that items are correctly or safely packaged and will not be held liable for damage to fragile or breakable items. All claims related to packaging or damage must be resolved directly between the customer and the seller. SLXpress will not mediate or participate in disputes between customers and merchants.
Customers are solely responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information. If your shipping address is incomplete or incorrect, you may incur additional charges or risk having your goods delivered to the wrong recipient. SLXpress is not responsible for delays, misdeliveries, or additional fees resulting from inaccurate, incomplete, or unclear address details provided at the time of purchase.
SLXpress serves solely as a logistics provider and does not guarantee or take responsibility for the performance, functionality, or condition of any product shipped. Any dissatisfaction with product performance should be addressed directly with the manufacturer or seller.
SLXpress is not responsible for losses resulting from incorrect purchases, products that do not perform as described online, or discrepancies between a product’s actual performance and the seller’s description.
While we take all reasonable precautions to ensure the safe delivery of packages, SLXpress is not liable for lost or missing items prior to the package entering our possession. SLXpress is not responsible for cash losses, stolen goods, items delivered to the wrong address, or packages lost before arrival into the SLXpress network.
In the event that SLXpress is found liable for consequential loss under any circumstance, the maximum settlement for uninsured packages is limited to US$50.00.
Customers must not ship items prohibited by law or by company policy. Any prohibited shipment is made entirely at the customer’s risk and may result in confiscation, fines, or legal action.
SLXpress reserves the right to open and inspect any shipment suspected of containing restricted items. All customers are required to declare the contents of their shipment before arrival in Jamaica. Customers who disagree with this policy are encouraged to consider alternative shipping providers.
SLXpress is not liable for any loss or damage to customer goods, mail, or shipments before they enter the SLXpress network or possession. Total liability of SLXpress shall, in all circumstances, be limited to US$50.00.
SLXpress provides insurance coverage up to US$50.00. Customers requiring additional insurance coverage must arrange it through a third party and are required to contact our office before placing an order if additional coverage is needed.
Additionally, customers shipping items valued at US$200.00 or more must notify SLXpress prior to shipping.
SLXpress shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, or delay resulting from natural disasters or acts of God, including but not limited to hurricanes, tropical storms, flooding, earthquakes, or other severe weather events.
While SLXpress is committed to ensuring the safe handling and timely delivery of all shipments entrusted to our care, unforeseen circumstances beyond our control may impact operations and delivery timelines. Customers are encouraged to take the necessary precautions when shipping during adverse weather periods and to collect packages promptly once available.
